Well, only because he hooked us up with some internet, cable tv and telephone service. I feel all connected inside. I just can’t handle it. I think I’m gonna cry.
I have been working in the basement/garage getting all my boxes unpacked for the office. I set up the computer and I’m feeling a little better about being in a more productive state of existence. But… I have discovered that my wireless router is not performing properly, so I guess I will be getting a new one later tonight… I have to get a few other things when we go out later anyway.

We are going to Jared’s wedding today.
We are in Atlanta until Sunday afternoon.
Getting internet and phone service on Monday.
I think I’m going to get a 912 area code number for my cell phone.
I get to bring my truck to Savannah this time.
We are bringing Buster (the fat cocker spaniel) back with us this time too.
I’m glad my neighbor has an unsecured network here in Dallas for us to ‘get on’ while we’re here.

Our comcast installation has been pushed back again… So we won’t have internet access until next Monday. But, this morning I am at Clary’s with Mikey. Clary’s is a famous local establishment. It was in the Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil movie. They have jam up southern breakfast food.
Anyway, its tough to find internet access unless I go somewhere, so I have just been updating my facebook periodically with my Blackberry and trying to Twitter, but my app I downloaded to my phone isn’t working anymore so I have to find a new one while I’m here today. But, I thought I would throw out some highlights while I was here:
- We’re moved in and have all the boxes unpacked.
- I still haven’t been to the beach even though I’ve been here a week.
- We looked at another possible meeting location today. Very cool place but limited on kids space.
- I’ve been working on policy stuff since that is all I can do right now because my truck is still in Atlanta so we only have one vehicle.
- We are leaving for Atlanta on Thursday to come back for Jared & April’s wedding. We’re going to get to go back to CATR on Sunday to see everyone and then we have to load the truck and the van up with more stuff to bring back here.
- Lastly, we are looking for a good place to have an informational meeting here on the 30th. We have a few ideas, but we are looking for somewhere that will house about 50 people.
Thats it for now. When we get some internet, I’ll get back to blogging regularly.

I decided that I want to Twitter. I really thought it was trendy at first, but now that I am moving down to Savannah, I thought that any way I can keep people up-to-date on what is happening the better. So I started a Twitter account.
I have added an RSS feed to my sidebar but I have already noticed that it is about 15-30min slow grabbing the feed. For now that is the best we can do… Hope this is just one more thing that helps keep everyone updated.

It’s 9 days before our family moves to Savannah and here’s what I’m thinking…
- We’re really gonna need more boxes
- Tomorrow we are going to Six Flags with a bunch of family.
- We are praying our application for the townhome we are trying to rent goes well
- Core group meetings are going to start in Savannah in late August… yeah!
- The guys and I are meeting this weekend to nail down lots of important stuff… excited about that!
- I can’t think when I feel pressured to blog
- I think the website looks great. Matt and Shannon at Factor 1 did a super job.
- I can’t wait to get to Savannah and start talking about this thing everywhere!
- I’m excited about what God is going to do because Satan has been working overtime lately.
